Beloved TV host, Mariasela Álvarez was diagnosed with Covid-19. She confirmed it in her Twitter account. She is the host of the “Esta Noche con Mariasela” nightly TV variety show on Channel 9. Cohosts Diana Lora, Camila García and National District senator Faride Raful continue the TV show while she recovers. Mariasela announced that coincidentally, they had pre-taped the programs for the Easter holidays and thus, she would appear on TV anyway, even when convalescing at home.
“Well, my turn has come. I am suffering from Covid-19. I was diagnosed last night, and I have symptoms of a bad cold and no smell, but nothing else for now. I already have all the tests and am medicated,” Mariasela wrote in her Twitter account.
In her Instagram stories, the TV veteran said she feels she has mild symptoms and called on her followers not to worry.
Earlier, in her last appearance on TV she had commented her daughter had fallen ill with the virus.
