Lots of Dominicans on the rosters of MLB teams

96 Dominican players are on the rosters of the teams in the National and American leagues of Major League Baseball. Some, like the Twins, the Tigers and the Marlins, have a lot of Dominican players. The Twins have seven, including Nelson Cruz, a slugger with 1,777 hits and over 400 home runs to his credit. The Tigers also have seven, four pitchers and three position players, including Nomar Mazara. And Miami has six players with Starlin Marte, certainly the star.
