Singer Manny Cruz says his wife is recovering from a serious bout with Covid-19. The sickness had caught up with dancer Yeri Peguero just as she was to give birth. The medics waited until Montserrat, her baby daughter, was born to begin treatment to avoid affecting the baby. This led Peguero to suffer from pneumonia. After giving birth, she was connected to a ventilator. Cruz reports the health of his wife is improving and he expects she will soon be off the ventilator. He called for people to keep praying for her prompt recovery.
