The emblematic red pick-up truck adhered to the front façade of Santo Domingo Motors headquarters on Av. John F. Kennedy in Santo Domingo city for around 25 years is no longer there, reports Noticias SIN. The vehicle was stuck to the building, several floors up for more than 25 years.
Santo Domingo Motors posted photos and videos on its Instagram account telling the story of the removal. A crane brought the vehicle back to ground level.
As reported in Noticias SIN, it is unknown whether the truck was removed temporarily for maintenance or definitively.
Santo Domingo Motors explained that the Chevrolet Silverado truck was placed there to recognize the integrity of a manager who had an accident in the company vehicle and reported the case to his superiors.
