The Central Electoral Board (JCE) announced it will be distributing RD$1.26 billion to the political parties according to the scale established by the electoral law. The JCE says it will take the funds from the “contributions” budget chapter. The distribution of the funds will be for the January-June and June-December 2021 allotments.
The JCE reports that the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) and the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) will receive RD$504 million. The People’s Force (FP), Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD), Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), Alianza Pais and Dominicanos para el Cambio will each receive RD$30 million.
