The scholarships are for studies at the Las Americas Institute of Technology (ITLA) in eastern Santo Domingo. First Lady Raquel Arbaje highlighted that the awards recognize the merits of the students. The young winners are Ashley Severino, Javier Mordán, Yerlin Duarte, Eydan Peña, Enmanuel Solano, Christopher Mercado, Guadalupe Bonilla, Darla Castillo, Melvin Núñez and Ilhen Duarte, who participated in the Task Challenge Award category of this year’s edition of the international Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC).
