Public Health Minister swore in Dr. Eladio Perez as Deputy Minister of Collective Health on Monday, 17 May 2021. The appointment was made by Decree 279-21. He replaces Dr. Ivelisse Acosta Reyes, who resigned.
Dr. Perez is a graduate of the state university UASD medical school, Cum Laude. An epidemiologist, he also has a master’s degree in senior management from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. He also is a graduate in hospital management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial, Madrid. He is also the coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Health Services Management at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC).
