Investigative journalist Nuria Piera dedicated her Saturday investigative report on Channel 9 to look into the draws carried out by the National Lottery, the state lottery. The report carried statements by Dominicans living in New York who said they had paid to participate in the earnings of winning tickets in past raffles. The director of the National Lottery, Luis Maisichell Dicent was suspended after an investigation was called.
