The 5th Heat Latin Music Awards are taking place in Juanillo Beach in Cap Cana in the Punta Cana vacation area this weekend and streamed online as of Thursday, 1 July 2021. Caroline Aquino and Osmariel Villalobos are the event hosts.
Among those receiving awards is Nacho, the Commitment Award for humanitarian work; Nicky Jam, the Gold Award, for his prominent career; Dominican merengue singer Eddy Herrera for pioneering with merengue and tropical genre; and Prince Royce for ten years as a bachata icon.
