Children vaccinated extended beyond Santo Domingo and Santiago

Pfizer vaccines are available in major vaccination stations in Greater Santo Domingo and Santiago and now in a growing number of provinces. El Dia reports that batches of Pfizer vaccines have been sent to vaccination stations in Azua, Bahoruco, La Romana, Puerto Plata, Samaná, Sánchez Ramírez, San Cristobal, San Juan de la Maguana, San Pedro de Macorís, Santiago Rodríguez and Valverde provinces. The priority is to vaccinate children 12+ and pregnant women. Priority is also given to seniors and those with comorbidities for the booster shot. Given that all vaccines need to be used, those that do not fit the priority categories can usually get the Pfizer vaccinations in the afternoon. First and second doses of Pfizer are also being applied at request upon availability.
