Ministry of Public Health campaign for safe driving in rainy season

The Ministry of Public Health seeks to better prepare the population for the rainy season with the unfolding of a road safety campaign on social media. The initiative seeks to prevent traffic accidents with tips for getting around in adverse weather conditions. The “Road Safety During the Rainy Season” campaign offers guidance particularly to motorcyclists and pedestrians, regarded as the most vulnerable. Low visibility is one of the reasons for accidents.

The hurricane season in the Caribbean begins in June and lasts through November. September is the month when most hurricanes have hit the country.
