The Santo Domingo Metro announced the start of works to expand the mass transport system to Los Alcarrizos. The US$506 million project is expected to be completed by 2023. It will add 7.3 km to the line that runs to Duarte Highway Km 9-JFKennedy Avenue. Five stations will be added.
