Expo Cibao, a five-day event focused on the central Cibao region, will be held from 29 September until 3 October 2021 at the Santiago Central Park (the old airport grounds on Bartolome Colon Ave). The activity has been scaled back for Covid-19 protocols and this year there will be but 140 exhibitors.
This year’s theme is “New Challenges, New Goals.” Carlos Iglesias, the head of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, says the business community is working to make this year’s event a new milestone in success. The organizers are working closely with the Ministry of Public Health to avoid the event serving as a spreader of Covid-19.
A parallel virtual Expo Cibao will take place using the the Cibao Trade Center platform.
