A Dominican migrant to the United States, 25-year old US Army sergeant Johanny Rosario is among the military that died in the Kabul International Airport suicide blast on 26 August 2021, tweeted Dominican ambassador to the United States, Sonia Guzmán. Rosario was a resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts. She was attached to the 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Naval Support Activity Bahrain.
