La Romana celebrates the gradual return of cruise ship tourists to the Casa de Campo Tourist Terminal. Daniel Zance, speaking for the La Romana cruise ship port, said that Carnival Horizon has been bringing 2,632 passengers on board and 1,432 crew members.
“We have expressed our confidence in a gradual post-pandemic reopening, complying with the sanitary protocols but dynamic to recover the levels prior to Covid-19,” says the director of the Dominican Port Authority (Apordom), Jean Luis Rodriguez.
Yocasta Rodríguez Cedeño, manager of Apordom in La Romana, expressed her satisfaction with the new dynamics bringing maritime tourists back to Dominican ports.
Amber Cove port in Puerto Plata is also receiving cruise ship arrivals.
