The defense of former Attorney General Jean Alain Rodriguez denied ties of their defendant to Ana Margarita Collado Marte, arrested for her ties with Erick Randhiel Mosquea Polanco, said to be the head of the Operation Falcon cocaine trafficking operation. The defense said that Collado Marte is but another of 9,000 employees at the Attorney General Office. Collado Marte is under investigation for her ties to Mosquea Polanco.
The defense protested the circulating on social media of a photo where it is said that Rodriguez appears with Mosquea and Collado. The defense said the photo was of a meeting in favor of the community at the Musa home in Puerto Plata. Musa is a former several-time mayor of Puerto Plata.
