The 2022 General Budget Bill will amount to one trillion 46 million pesos, down from the trillion 94 million pesos in 2021. President Luis Abinader met with his Council of Ministers on Monday, 27 September 2021 and then made the announcement.
The government estimates RD$871 billion in revenues and a 3% deficit. The bill will be sent to the National Congress by 1 October 2021. The ruling party is the majority in Congress.
