Juan Luis Guerra swept away with six nominations –
Record of the Year: Dios Así lo Quiso (with Ricardo Montaner)
Album of the Year: Privé – Juan Luis Guerra
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album: Privé
Best Tropical Song: Pambiche de Novia
Best Arrangement: Ojalá que Llueva Café (Versión Privé)
Best Long Form Music Video: Entre Mar y Palmeras
Covi Quintana is nominated in the category of Best Singer-Songwriter Album (for solo artists or duos) — Mañana te Escribo Otra Canción.
Rita Indiana is nominated for Best New Artist.
Dominicans swept the Best Merengue/Bachata Album category. The nominated are:
Bachata Queen – Alexandra
Love Dance Merengue — Manny Cruz
El Papa de la Bachata, Su Legado – Luis Segura
Es Merengue – Algun Problema? – Sergio Vargas

This year the Latin Grammys will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The event will be aired live on Univision beginning at 8pm eastern time on 18 November 2021.
