Manatees rescued by local marine experts are now moving around the shallow waters of the La Romana beach areas.
A manatee was seen visiting Minitas Beach in Casa de Campo in La Romana. The friendly manatee pleasantly surprised beach goers and allowed these to pet it.
The manatee has a tagging device so that local marine experts can supervise how it is readapting to living in the wild.
