The National Technical Professional Training Institute (Infotep) announces vocational courses are available in New York and New Jersey. Infotep reached an alliance with the New York Renaissance Technical Institute for the training. The courses are coordinated with the Dominicans Abroad Institute (Instituto de Dominicanos en el Exterior – Index) and the Dominican Consulate in New York. Scholarships are available to Dominicans living in New York and New Jersey.
There are courses in refrigeration, plumbing, solar panels, carpentry, HVAC, and electric heating. Also marketing, personnel, computer sciences, hospitality and English as a second language.
