Juan Luis Guerra is announcing he will hold four concerts in Punta Cana in early 2022. After two years of keeping a virtual presence, the singer-composer says his 4×40 band will be on a live stage at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in February 2022 in northern Punta Cana. Every Saturday in February, the presentations will serve as the launching of the artist’s new tour, “Entre Mar y Palmeras” where Guerra resumes his global touring activities.
Guerra is the most nominated winner of the Latin Grammy Awards set for 18 November 2021 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. For the 22nd Latin Grammy Awards he was nominated to six awards:
Record of the Year: Dios Así lo Quiso (with Ricardo Montaner)
Album of the Year: Privé – Juan Luis Guerra
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album: Privé
Best Tropical Song: Pambiche de Novia
Best Arrangement: Ojalá que Llueva Café (Versión Privé)
Best Long Form Music Video: Entre Mar y Palmeras.
The nomination for Best Long Form Music Video is for his filming of his music right on one of the long stretches of Punta Cana beach during the pandemic.
Guerra promises to perform his most legendary songs, says the press release announcing the Punta Cana concerts.
