Pro Dominicana, the government export and investment agency, and the Dominican Embassy in Russia have organized a webinar to teach Dominicans how to export to Russia. The presentation is by Nelson Ortega, a counsellor at the Dominican Embassy in Russia. Also speaking will be successful exporters, Esteban Luciano and Laura Marrero for ProAgro Dominicana, Eliot Ortiz for Ely Import & Export and Nelson de los Santos, for Induban.
The event is Wednesday, 27 October from 10am to 12 noon.
The event is timely now that Russian airlines are making available lots of valuable cargo space on the many direct flights to Russia. Four airlines are flying non-stop from different points in Russia. These are Aeroflot, Nordwind, Royal Flight and Azur Air. The airlines are flying tourists here but have abundant extra cargo space that is ideal for fresh produce.
