The Chamber of Deputies passed the bill that amends article 8 of Law 2569 dating back to 4 December 1950 on Inheritance and Donation Taxes.
The initiative was accepted by the plenary as approved by the Senate of the Republic and now passes to the Executive Branch for its enactment.
The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco (PRM-National District) said there was a consensus for the passing of the bill.
