
The Dominican Association of Exporters (Adoexpo) announced the Export Resilience Awards 2021. The president of Adoexpo, Elizabeth Mena said that the awards will recognize companies that have been exporting for years and in the last year have promoted alternatives to maintain their operations, reinvent themselves and make important contributions to society. Creativity and talent in industry is also recognized. The awards are in six categories and the event will be celebrated on 15 November 2021 as of 9:30am at the InterContinental Hotel in Santo Domingo. Adoexpo members, government officials, business leaders are invited to attend.
During the event, Adoexpo will also present its new Export Check Up tool. The tool will allow companies to verify before hand if they are in compliance with export requirements in a diversity of markets.
“2021 continued to be a year of challenges not only in terms of health but also global trade, characterized by the resilience of the productive sector and the collaborative work between public and private institutions,” added Mena.
“The Dominican Association of Exporters aims to promote the development and preservation of current export markets and the conquering of new international markets, as well as to provide the necessary technical assistance and continuous training to increase the national export capacity,” she said in making the announcement.
