
A technical training project in telecommunications and information technology is to be implemented by the National Institute of Technical and Vocational Training (Infotep) and Huawei Technologies Dominicana.
The Chinese company signed a technical cooperation agreement with Infotep, the country’s largest vocational training center. Huawei is backing new training courses in the areas of telecommunications and informatics, and will offer Huawei certification programs.
The agreement was signed by the general director of Infotep, Rafael Santos Badía, and by the president of Huawei Technologies Dominicana, Cai Yifan. Present were China ambassador Zhang Run, the ministers of Labor, Luis Miguel De Camps, of Superior Education, Franklín García and the deputy minister José Ramón Holguín.
