Thieves broke into the back door of the Banco Agricola in Mao, the provincial capital of Valverde province around 4am and left with RD$2.6 million on Saturday, 12 November 2021, according to the National Police. The entire incident was caught on video by security cameras, and the authorities are currently trying to identify the hoodlums.
