The temporary director of the Post Office (Inposdom) Katiusca Baez announced the annulling of the contract signed with the Miami-based courier firm, Mia Cargo.
Inposdom issued Resolution 001-11-021 that suspends the contract between Inposdom and Mia Cargo Group until a definite resolution is issued. Jesus Sole Martinez was removed from the Inposdom payroll because he was a Mia Cargo company shareholder.
Inposdom also announced the suspension of the services of Inpospak.
Baez recently was named to the position after the director Adan Peguero was suspended for an investigation into irregularities in the contracting with Mia Cargo.
