Of the foreigners assisted, 804 were Haitian men and 67 Haitian women. The office also assisted 6 Venezuelans, 4 US or Canadians (3 men and 1 woman), 3 Chinese, 2 Colombians, 2 Peruvians (1 man and 1 woman), 1 German, 1 Argentinean, 1 Spanish, 1 Dutch, 1 Italian, 1 Mexican, 1 Dutch, 1 Puerto Rican and 1 Russian.

The Public Defense Office represents those who for any reason do not have a lawyer in criminal law conflicts. It also carries out actions to ensure the rights of the assisted.
