The Aguilas Cibaeñas will join the Gigantes del Cibao, Estrellas Orientales and Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Professional Baseball Championship semi-finals. In a game played on 20 December 2021 at the Quisqueya Ball Park, the Aguilas defeated the Leones del Escogido 5-3, winning the fourth slot for the semi-final phase of the Dominican Professional Winter Baseball Championship.
There will be a week-long break in the schedule to allow for players to go home for the holidays and return. The teams resume play on 27 December 2021 to decide the two playoff teams in Dominican Professional Winter Professional Baseball League (Lidom).
The Dominican Professional Baseball Championship round robin that starts on 27 December continues through 17 January 2022.
