President Luis Abinader honored radio broadcaster Ramon de Luna Peguero with the National Journalism Award 2021. This is the first time a broadcaster from the interior of the country receives the award. De Luna Peguero has over 70 years in news broadcasting and commenting. The award is funded by the Ministry of Education and is decided by the Dominican Association of Journalists (Colegio Dominicano de Periodistas).
