The Gigantes del Cibao, representing the Dominican Republic, is undefeated in the Caribbean Series played at Santo Domingo’s Quisqueya – Juan Marichal Ball Park. The Gigantes had won the regular season, semifinals and playoffs of the Dominican Professional Winter League. Colombia and Venezuela follow with two wins and one loss.
The Dominican team has defeated Panama (7-3), Puerto Rico (5-3) and Mexico (3-2).
