
New York rendered tribute to two young Police murdered when attending to a domestic violence call in Harlem on Friday, 21 January 2022. The two deceased were of Dominican descent — 22-year old Jason Rivera and 27-year old Wilbert Mora. Rivera was shot dead, Mora survived but died the next Wednesday.
Despite the cold day and the light snow, thousands of Police officers and mourners strolled down Fifth Avenue in solidarity with the fallen officers.
