Sahara dust is usually a summer weather phenomenon. Sometimes chilly weather, but mostly blue skies prevail in the Caribbean for winter. But now, Gloria Ceballos of the national weather service (Onamet) announces Sahara dust is blowing our way.
Ceballos explains the intensity of the Sahara dust clouds will be less than during summer and is not a matter of concern.
