Russia won the last slot available to the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournament during the qualifying game against Puerto Rico played on 14 February 2022 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo.
Russia played Puerto Rico in the game that was free to all audiences.
The teams that now will play in the World Cup are Australia, China, Nigeria, Belgium, France, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Japan, Serbia, Canada, Korea and the United States. The World Cup will take place 22 September to 1 October in Sydney, Australia.
