President Luis Abinader opened this year’s Feria Ganadera, the leading livestock and farm produce exhibition on the Malecón site. The fair is open from 18 March to 27 March 2022. President Abinader stressed the importance of farmers in leading the nation’s recovery from Covid-19. He announced low cost financing for farming under programs managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Agricultural Bank (Bagricola).
The Feria Ganadera is a place where the general public can learn about the programs available for farmers, purchase low-cost farm produce, and observe livestock. The exhibitions are attractive to all the family. The fair serves as a petting zoo for children of all ages.
