Investigative journalist Nuria Piera continues to look inside the fortunes of eight Dominican legislators who are known to be in the gaming industry.
Of the eight legislators, four belong to the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), three to the former ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) and one to the People’s Force (FP), the political party of former President Leonel Fernandez.

Deputy Juan Carlos Echavarría Milané (PLD-Santo Domingo) reported RD$402,588,054.50 on his official wealth statement. He is the owner of the Consorcio de Bancas Joselito. He is a member of the Permanent Committee for Sports, Physical Education and Recreation.
Deputy Eduard Espiritusanto Castillo (FP-La Romana) is the owner of the Consorcio de Bancas Eduard. Castillo reports wealth amounting to RD$373,208,708.58.
Deputy Carlos José Gil Rodríguez (PLD-Santo Domingo) reports RD$108,156,763. He is the owner of the La Dinámica betting consortium. He is the president of the Permanent Committee of Modernization and Reform of the State and is part of the Permanent Committee of Social Security.
Deputy Orlando Antonio Martinez Peña (PRM-Monseñor Nouel) reports wealth of almost RD$100 million. He is in his second term as deputy. He is the owner of Consorcio de Bancas OM. He is a member of the Chamber of Accounts and Industry and Commerce committees.
Deputy Manuel Miguel Florián Terrero (PRM-Barahona) reports RD$92,154,074.7. He is president of the Consorcio de Bancas Los Mellizos.
Deputy Domingo Eusebio de León Mascaro (PLD-Santo Domingo) reports RD$60,420,994.90. He is the owner of bancas La Solución and partner of Loteka. He is a member of the Permanent Committee of Economy, Planning and Development.
