The Central Electoral Board (JCE) is asking all citizens to spread the word that birth certificates, marriage, divorce and death certificates do not need to be legalized. Legalization was a costly and time-consuming procedure required in previous administrations. JCE director Román Jaquez says the documents today issued are valid for all government requirements.
