Ricardo Antonio Abreu killed his former mother-in-law, 72-year old Rina Margarita Peña, in a fit of rage. He stabbed her two dozen times in front of his own children. Their mother, Raquelita Guerra had several restraining orders issued against her former spouse, ordering him to stay away from her and her family. The deranged man also stabbed her 19-year old son, Gustavo Rodríguez Guerra from another marriage, who survived and is hospitalized in the Dario Contreras trauma hospital.
Guerra is best known as a contestant on MasterChef Dominican Republic where she made the top 5 of the reality show. Today she works as a chef with Chef Tita (Ines Paez Nin). Her boss is asking for financial help for her employee. See the Diario Libre link below for the bank account details.
