National District Mayor Carolina Mejia announced the start of the fourth phase of the Santo Domingo Malecón Promenade. Mejia said the works seek to transform the Malecón into a large linear park.
The initiative calls for the recovery and renovation of a fourth section of the 14 km Caribbean Sea-bordering road. This section is between Av. Núñez de Cáceres (Autopista 30 de Mayo) and Huascar Tejeda Street (Av. George Washington).
