The Civil Aviation Board announced permission has been granted to British Airways to start the route London/Antigua/Punta Cana/Antigua/London. The agreement, nevertheless, does not grant traffic rights on the Antigua/Punta Cana route.
The flight from London Gatwick (LGW) to Punta Cana International (PUJ) takes 9 hours and 15 minutes.
Return flights in June are selling for £723.
TUI offers nonstop flights from the UK airports of Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester to the Punta Cana International Airport.
