CNSS resolutions violate Social Security Law, says deputy

Deputy Rafael Castillo (Fuerza del Pueblo-Santo Domingo province) says that the National Council of Social Security is issuing resolutions that are in violation of the Social Security Law 87-01. In an interview with El Nuevo Diario TV, Castillo says that the CNSS consistently issues resolutions, acting as a supra organization. He mentioned, for instance, the resolution that first set a limit to meds paid for insurance plans to RD$3,000 and then to RD$8,000, a limitation for meds coverage that is not in the law.
