The Dominican Republic under 20 years old men’s football team plays Jamaica for a slot in the FIFA U20 World Cup. The DR recently defeated El Salvador to make the quarterfinals of the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship that are taking place in Honduras.
On Wednesday, 7pm (EDT), the DR now plays Jamaica, a team with more history in football than the emerging Dominican Republic. If Jamaica wins, nevertheless, it would be just their second U20 World Cup berth and their first since 2001.
