The outright number of cases of Covid-19 has been climbing in recent weeks, yet the Ministry of Public Health has reported no deaths from the virus for the past three weeks. The last death was reported in the 7 June 2022 bulletin. Most new cases are occurring in Santo Domingo/National District and Santiago. Although the number of cases has been on the rise, the authorities have not reimposed any of the restrictions on the general public.
