New Minister of Environment Miguel Ceara-Hatton has taken with him to the Ministry of Environment advisors that worked with him at the Ministry of Economy.
President Luis Abinader appointed René Antonio Mateo de los Santos, replacing Deputy Minister for Ground and Waters at the Ministry of Environment. He replaces Juan Fulvio Ureña Acosta. Now working at the Ministry of Environment are Agueda Suarez who will now be in charge of human resources, Luz Felix in charge of IT, Gilberto Valdez, in charge of finances, and Consuelo Cruz as general advisor. All these were part of Ceara-Hatton’s team at the Ministry of Economy.
