
The director of the Robert Reid Cabral Children’s Hospital, Dr. Clemente Terrero says that in only one week there have been 2,742 cases of dengue nationwide. The number is four times the 722 cases that occurred during the same week in 2021. “This means the disease has been increasing little by little,” he said. He said the increase is slow but constant and it is necessary to monitor its behavior and take the required measures.
Dengue is spread by mosquito bite.
