Hansel Emmanuel plays in the NCAA; trailblazing new Dominican basketball player

He’s a spectacle to watch. Dominican Hansel Emmanuel got a scholarship to play at the Life Christian Academy in Kissimee, Florida and took the team to the championship win. He then had Division-I offers from Memphis, Tennessee State and Bethune-Cookman to play in the NCAA’s Drew League. He selected Northwestern State in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Initial reports reveal he is already impressing fans as he takes to the court in the Drew League championship.

Nothing out of the usual for a basketball player, except…. Emmanuel is a one-armed basketball player. He lost his left arm when a wall crushed it when he was six. He learned to play basketball with one arm and slips through the air with the grace of a gazelle and the moves of a snake.
