The National Council for Children and Adolescents (Conani) closed the state children care home that operated at the Expreso V Centenario Avenue after eight teenagers escaped on Thursday, 8 September 2022. This is the same home where a 12-year old minor had fallen from the fourth floor rooftop, with no clear explanation given yet as to what happened.
“As part of a process of strengthening the step homes, the National Council for Children and Adolescents (Conani) definitively closed the V Centenario center,” Conani announced on Saturday, 10 September 2022 via a Twitter account.
