The second edition of “Festecom” is coming to Casa de Teatro, in the Colonial City. The Comic Theater Festival (Festecom) will take place 30 September to 16 October 2022 at the Casa de Teatro auditorium. Different comedy companies are scheduled to perform each week. This 2022, the festival is dedicated to Irving Alberti, announced Noel Ventura, founder of the theater company.
The festival opens with Richarson Díaz and Vicente Santos presenting the play “Sin zapatos no hay paraíso” (Without shoes there is no paradise) from 30 September through 1-2 October.
Next, Producciones A’Do’Mano presents “Nuestra señora de las nubes” by playwright Arístides Vargas that has successfully been performed on stages in Latin America and Europe. The play will be staged on 7, 8 and 9 October with performances by Kevyn Pérez, Junandy López, Raymal García, Fleury Oviedo, Cindy Vásquez, Laura González, Maxwell Jhonson, Guillaume Félix and Nancy Jeréz.
“A fool in a box” closes the festival. Playwright Martin Giner’s thought provoking play will be presented on 14, 15 and 16 October by Producciones Noventu staring Patricio León, Noel Ventura and Raymal García.
