Mexico, Germany and Netherlands ambassadors present credentials

President Luis Abinader received on Tuesday, 4 October 2022 the credentials of the new ambassadors of Mexico, Germany and the Netherlands at the Presidential Palace. He was accompanied by Vice President Raquel Peña and Foreign Relations Minister Roberto Alvarez.

The new ambassador of Mexico is lawyer and politician Miguel Aysa González, who previously had been the acting governor of the state of Campeche from 2019 to 2021.

Maike Friedrichsen is the new ambassador for Germany. She had previously served at the German Federal Foreign Office, Political Department, Deputy Director Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean (2014-2018), the deputy head of mission in Germany from 2010-2014 in Nicaragua.

Ambassador Fredrick Lammert Keurhorst is the new ambassador for The Netherlands. He has been with the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Netherlands since 1992. He had previously been assigned to Africa and Middle East countries. Previous to his appointment, he was the Dutch ambassador in Malta.
