José Luis Corripio Estrada (don Pepín Corripio) positioned the family name as a lead brand in the Dominican Republic. For years, he endeavored to build up a major import, distribution and manufacturing business. Now, the family is setting aside time to honor the aging patriarch.
Representatives of the three branches of government – Presidency, Congress and the Judicial Branch, civil society groups, business people, family and friends met at the Senate for the recognition on 5 October 2022.
